In several rooms on the upper floor are the replicas of the inventions, mostly made of wood. Highlights are, for example, the flying machines, including a kind of helicopter. But Leonardo da Vinci also invented weapons such as machine guns and armored cars. According to our estimates, there are a total of over 50 machines, devices and the like in the museum. Each one is very interesting, there is a small description for each object in about 6 languages including German.

It is also great that you can touch and participate in many of the machines, you can move levers and the like. For everyone who is interested in mechanics or physics, the Leonardo da Vinci is a highlight in Venice. There are few originals from the ingenious inventor, but the replicas are really ingenious. The museum is ingenious for children from school age as well as for adults. We spent 2 hours enjoying the objects in the exhibition.

There is a small cinema in the first floor. There is a good movie about the life of Da Vinci. The probably most famous polymath in history lived from 1452 to 1519.
